Enzyme peels can be done at your local day spa. The aesthetician first cleans the skin and then applies the enzyme peel to the face, neck and sometimes chest. The enzyme should stay on for 15 to 30 minutes and then it will become neutrilized. The results can be seen for 5 to 8 days afterwards. RetinA, Renova, or glycolic acids should be avoided within one day before or after the treatment. Sunblock should be used afterwards if out in the sun for 1 to 2 days. A typical procedure costs about $100.
